Choose the right starting point

Two ways in.

The $1,500 Build Direction Sprint turns one priority journey into a build-ready direction — criteria, interface direction, and the scoped production path. Credited in full toward a build within 30 days.

The working standard

Ideas become useful when they survive contact with reality.

Stele carries approved direction through build, integration, and the last ten percent that makes software feel finished.

02 · Capabilities

Design sense. Systems depth. One build partner.

Stele builds the interface people use and the infrastructure behind it.

01

Stele shapes the architecture, builds the interface, connects the backend, and ships a production system that another engineer can understand.

03 · A defined place to start

The Build Direction Sprint.

A bounded engagement to turn one consequential interface or web product into an approved, build-ready direction—before committing to production.

04 · Continuity

Built to hand off. Available to stay.

Stele documents the system, protects the handoff, and can remain responsible when ongoing engineering is the better choice.

What responsible delivery includes:

  • Clear repositories, environments, and deployment paths
  • Written decisions, acceptance checks, and known boundaries
  • Source and client-specific deliverables transferred on agreed terms

No mystery dependency. No disappearing after launch.

06 · Process

Clarity first. Then velocity.

  1. Define the outcome

Start with the goal, the user, the constraints, and what must be true when the work is accepted.

    EvidenceOutcome brief
  2. Lock the engagement

Agree on scope, milestones, ownership, communication, and the decisions that could change the work.

    EvidenceScope record
  3. Build in the open

Working software appears early. Decisions, progress, and blockers stay visible instead of hiding behind a final reveal.

    EvidenceWorking build
  4. Verify and hand off

Test against the agreed result, document the system, and either transfer it cleanly or continue under a new scope.

08 · Working together

Useful questions before the call.

FitWhat kind of work is a fit?

The strongest fit is agency client work that needs senior implementation capacity. Product teams are also a fit when a launch-critical workflow needs a clear owner and room for judgment.

CommercialWhat does it cost to start?

The Build Direction Sprint is $1,500 fixed and credited toward a build started within 30 days. Production is scoped separately. The agency pilot is $1,200 fixed — $600 to start, $600 on written acceptance.

FitDo you work with agencies?

Yes. Stele can work under an agency’s process as a named engineering partner, including bounded builds, launches, features, and interactive work. Client boundaries and non-solicitation terms are agreed in writing.

ProcessHow do projects start?

Send a short project note, then have a fit conversation. If the work is a match, Stele follows with written scope, acceptance criteria, milestones, ownership terms, and the first payment.

RiskWho owns the work?

After payment, the client receives the agreed client-specific deliverables, with ongoing engineering available when continuing work is needed. Stele retains its pre-existing tools, reusable components, methods, and general know-how. The contract states the exact boundary before work begins.
